Table 1: Quotas including current and historical balances
Contains all of the quotas in the UK Tariff, including all of future, current and historical quotas, and the balances attached to them. One row exists for each defined period of each quota order number.
Download the Quotas including current and historical balances table (CSV, 1.2 MB). To download less data you can filter on columns and rows in the Quotas including current and historical balances table.

| quota_definition__sid | The unique identifier for this period of the quota order number. This can be used for debugging, and for importing quota definitions into other systems. |
| quota__order_number | The 6 digit code that identifies this quota and which must be used on declarations to access the quota. |
| quota__geographical_areas | Human-readable descriptions of each geographical area or area group that the quota is available to, separated by a pipe character. |
| quota__headings | Human-readable descriptions of all the of the HS4 headings that the quota applies to, separated by a pipe character. |
| quota__commodities | All of the CN10 commodity codes that this quota applies or has applied to. |
| quota__measurement_unit | The units that the quota volume is measured in. |
| quota__monetary_unit | If the quota volume represents an amount of money, the currency that the volume is expressed in. |
| quota_definition__description | A human-readable description of the purpose of this quota. |
| quota_definition__validity_start_date | The validity start date of this start quota definition, accounting for the start date of related regulations. |
| quota_definition__validity_end_date | The validity end date of this quota definition, accounting for the end date of related regulations. If there is no end date, this is shown as "#NA". |
| quota_definition__suspension_periods | Date periods for which this quota definition is suspended, meaning that the quota is not available. A range of dates in "YYYY-MM-DD" format, seperated by a pipe character. |
| quota_definition__blocking_periods | Date periods for which this quota definition is blocked, meaning that the quota allocations are temporarily prevented. A range of dates in "YYYY-MM-DD" format, seperated by a pipe character. |
| quota_definition__status | The status of the quota at the moment this file was generated, which is one of: "Future" if the quota period has not yet started, "Exhausted" if the quota balance is empty, "Closed" if the quota period has ended without emptying, "Critical" if the quota's balance has dropped below it's criticality threshold, or "Open" if the quota is currently available to use. |
| quota_definition__last_allocation_date | The date that the quota was last allocated. For exhausted quotas, this is also the date on which the quota became exhausted. If there have been no allocations, this is shown as "#NA". |
| quota_definition__initial_volume | A decimal number representing the initial balance that the quota is opened with. |
| quota_definition__balance | A decimal number representing the current or final balance that the quota has. |
| quota_definition__fill_rate | A decimal number between 0 and 1 representing the current proportion of balance used. If the balance is currently higher than the initial volume, this is capped at zero. |
